Annual permits are intended for a series of similar special events sponsored by the same person or organization in the same twelve (12) month period.

Applications for annual permits shall be submitted not less than ninety (90) days before the first scheduled event of the calendar year. 一个完整的 Special Event Permit Packet, along with any applicable attachments as outlined on the form must be submitted to the 公园 & 娱乐 Department. 根据 12节.08.190 (C) of the City 城市代码, additional information is required along with the Special Event Application. The Annual Permit Application fee is also due at time of application submission.

Additional Permit Application Information Required

体育赛事, the application shall also include a list of all anticipated activities, not related to game play, 之前举行, during or after the event that would otherwise be deemed a special event. The information required pursuant to Section 12.08.050 shall also be provided for all such anticipated activities. 举个例子, 而不是限制, such additional activities may include: pyrotechnics displays, vehicular races/demonstrations or other hazardous activities, 音乐会, 和 animal exhibitions. The permittee shall be responsible for the city’s costs in providing a level of public services (police, 火, emergency medical services 和 parking) necessary to ensure the health, safety 和 welfare of both the special event’s participants 和 the community. Upon approval of the annual permit, the chief of police shall provide the applicant with a statement of the estimated cost of providing such services for each event. The estimated cost for an initial annual permit shall be based on the applicant’s projected attendance for its first year of operations. 之后, the estimated cost shall be based on the city’s costs actually incurred in the previous year, modified as necessary to account for changes in the size, 范围, or numbers of anticipated events during the term of the permit.
